DESCRIPTION:North Iowa Southern Minnesota Veteran Stand Down to be held on September 27\, 2025 \nMASON CITY\, IOWA – The North Iowa Southern Minnesota Veteran Stand Down will take place on Saturday\, September 27\, 2025\, at the North Iowa Fairgrounds in Mason City\, Iowa. The event\, which is open to all Veterans\, is established to provide support\, resources\, goods\, and assistance to those who have served in the military\, and to their families. \nVeterans are invited to meet at the North Iowa Event Center: 3700 4th Street SW in Mason City\, Iowa. The Event will be open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. \nThe Veteran Stand Down offers a wide range of resources. Agencies will be on site to aid any Veteran who is insecure about housing\, food\, clothing\, employment\, physical health\, mental health\, alcohol and/or substance abuse. Veterans can also receive free food\, clothing\, personal care items\, educational information\, financial counseling\, and legal advice. \nServices available include medical evaluations\, battlefield acupuncture\, flu shots\, haircuts\, chiropractic care\, massage therapy\, dental care\, hunting and fishing license registration\, plus more. There will also be Bingo\, trivia games\, live music\, a root beer garden\, an ice cream social\, and many raffle prizes will be given away. \nThe North Iowa Southern Minnesota Stand Down is a collaborative effort between local government agencies\, non-profit organizations\, and private businesses. This great clinic will feature renowned judge Bozo Rogers\, Zach Hedberg\, Morgan Snyder\, Damien Mikkelson\, and Garrett & Tiffany Ackerson. \nSign up for sessions with 2 clinicians each in a menu format- choose what you want as inventory allows-including box-drive\, fence work\, ranch riding\, ranch reining\, ranch trail\, cow work and more. Get  judge’s perspective live as you run patterns for the legendary AQHA/NRCHA judge Bozo Rogers. \nLocation is North Iowa Events Center-Mason City IA. Everything will run through Cowboy Adventures. Camping\, stalls\, tack stalls\, jump out (day fee) and Saturday night dinner RSVP are all available for signup at https://www.cowboy-adventures.com/collections/ranch-horse-academy-memorial-weekend-1.    Lunch will be provided both days. \nYou can signup for one morning and one afternoon session each day. Please make sure you choose SAT AM\, SAT PM\, SUN AM and SUN PM in the clinics you want to pursue as inventory allows.
